Above is Alison Bowmaster, ex-Magistrate, born on Hessle Road, who is also part of the LIL’S LASSES and LIL the PLAY written by Val Holmes, about the Hull heroine Lillian Bilocca, which I produced in November 2017 and March 2018.
Alison’s portrait captures something about the strength of those women of Hull, who lost loved ones over the years.
