MANDATORY PUBLIC HAPPINESS REGIME.

PAUL A DENNIS

Now there’s an end in sight you’ll need to follow this new guidance to ensure you enter reality again without any long term, damaging effects.

1) STOP: Take a few deep breaths, sum up the courage to pick up a Pad ‘n Pencil and ask someone to sit with you for 15-30 minutes. It could be a family member, a friend, a work colleague or anyone you want to give your attention to.

2) LOOK: Really, really look at the face in front of you for at least two minutes in silence. Notice the shape and position of each feature. Don’t draw just yet, look again for another minute.

3) DRAW: Begin your drawing. Know that it’s less about producing a finished piece of “Art” and more about the time you take to simply practice drawing. For yourself.

4) SHARE: Thank your sitter, take a pic of your drawing and post it to your favourite media platform with the hashtag #PADportraits (and send a copy to PAD Portraits if you’d like to share with me).

There. You have now acquired partial immunity to Procrastination, Fear of Failure, Insecurity and Negative Self-talk. You did it! Well done!
