I came to meet Paul about creative writing initially and was welcomed into this great little studio by the river.  I’d been looking for someone who could teach me some basic drawing techniques. My last experience of being taught drawing was at school, some twenty five years ago, so i was quite nervous. Paul’s genuine nature, experience and passion for drawing helped me get past my blocks. I came away with lots of new ideas of how to draw, as well as seeing what is unique to how i personally create which felt a really important learning to me.

Can I just say how enjoyable this class was. We never stopped laughing from start to finish. My drawing talents were strictly Loweryesque as in matchstick men and matchstick cats and dogs! Well now, with Paul’s teaching of portrait techniques I did produce a passable picture.

Give it a go you’ve nothing to lose and new skills to gain.
