Group Portrait Drawing Workshop

WANT TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT ON YOUR NEXT COMPANY OR GROUP OUTING?
Drawing

YES, YOU COULD GO PAINT-BALLING, BUT… HAVE YOU EVER SAT IN A ROOM AND STUDIED (I MEAN REALLY STUDIED) THE HUMAN FACE?

Artists through the ages have, and they’d testify, there is nothing like it for focusing the mind. Portrait Sessions in the Studio Space, is where you and your group members can spend a few hours away from your usual environs, and connect in a new way. Around a subject you might not normally ever think of trying… Drawing!

“But I can’t draw!” – Good. It’s not only about the drawing, it’s about the looking, trying and sharing.

“What’s the point?” – Your day to day activities in the workplace can take its toll. If you’re spending many hours at a computer screen or working hard in the field, your body and mind will be refreshed with a break from the routine.

“I couldn’t look at someone’s face for hours!” – It’s true, the first time you do it you may find it a little awkward. But under our tutelage you’ll soon settle down and tune into appreciating just how fascinating a subject your own and other people’s faces are.. As if you didn’t know!

For sheer entertainment value alone, it’s something a bit different and certainly fun!”

You may also find some rather more meaningful lessons and benefits to apply to your everyday and working day.

Artist’s smocks are not required!

Come as you are. Leave a little wiser!

The half day sessions are suited to a maximum of 15 people, with a minimum of 10.

All materials; Sketchbooks, Pencils and Erasers are provided.
